4 weeks agoThis place has an amazing atmosphere amd excellent food. On the night I went, they had the spurs game on a big screen outdoors. There is a bounce house for the kids, an indoor/outdoor billiards area, amd even some porch swings. I highly recommend stopping for a visit, however it is not without its flaws. I saw a bar area and a food truck. I wasn't drinking, so I went to the food truck to order. I was told I had to order at the bar, then pick up at the truck. So, I went back to the bar and ordered (Birria quesadilla- delicious) and tried to get a side order of Elote that I saw on the sign at the bar. The bartender said that I had to order that at the white food truck (a 2nd food truck tucked in further that I hadn't seen). Seemed odd, and slightly frustrating, but I walked over to the white food truck to order. It was closed. The bartender didnt bother mentioning that it wasn't open. Oh well, no biggie. When my food was ready, I picked it up from the red food truck. I asked for napkins, but he told me I would have to go to the bar for napkins. Its a beautiful place,definitely visit. But the food coordination leaves much to be desired.

a month agoFood was not worth the money, cold and very small portions. Huge rip off. A small Burrito that isn’t very good is 12$ The service was fine but the place is covered by flies and ownership does nothing to help the issue. Unsanitary to eat here.

2 months agoHad to try the taco queso birilla consome (? - unsure if I have the dish named correctly) - had a similar dish in San Antonio at a now closed restaurant on the northside. Loved them both - The Oaks, & the now closed place. 🥺 How authentic? Dunno - just that it tastes GOOD, and there was ENOUGH. If you like 'al fresco' (outdoor dining) and great food truck food, go there!! They also have bands coming, too.

3 months agoGreat place!!!!! Food is on point; service is excellent. Bartender, Erika, is awesome. She was my bartender at Lew's (DO NOT go there) and I'm so glad she can continue to serve me my drinks. They have really amped up this place. Kudo's to the owners

6 months agofirst time there and we will return food was so good. we ordered to philly steak sandwiches . We also ordered the fries with chicken awith ranch and buffalo. Let me tell you i am a cook elsewhere and them fries were delicious

a year agoFirst time ever coming to this place ,I’m from Houston and this place was recommended to me and my family,have to say the food was AMAZING had the best time ever ,the service was great ,music enjoyed the atmosphere and very clean!! Most definitely would recommend to my friends and family. It’s a must to try. Worth the drive!

a year agoFound this awesome place by accident on my way home from San Antonio. If you’re ever in the area or close by this is highly recommended. It is all outdoors so your enjoyment may differ by season, nonetheless we tried several items and they were all cooked well and had flavor. All staff was super nice and helpful. They have TVs and jukebox, and cold beers as well.
